 日本は信頼と武装を両立できるか  1 本目のエピソードでは、オーストラリア・NZ の世論調査で日本がアジアで最も信頼される国になっている背景、米中の戦略的小康状態を次の競争の仕込み期間として捉える視点、そして日米同盟の中で日本を不可欠な同盟国にしていく戦略という3つの論点から、信頼される国は武装してもなお信頼され続けるのか、その信頼をどう供給網・産業・同盟の設計に変えていくのかを考えます。 #### 豪州・NZで高まる対日信頼 ― 安心して組める日本は続くのか（Lowy Institute） Lowy Institute の「[Japan is now the most trusted Asian power in Australia and New Zealand](https://www.lowyinstitute.org/the-interpreter/japan-now-most-trusted-asian-power-australia-new-zealand)」をもとに、豪州・NZ の世論調査で日本がアジアで最も信頼される国になっている背景を紹介します。 中国不信と米国への安心感の低下の中で、日本が予測可能で、価値観が近く、文化的にも親しみやすい国として選ばれ始めていることが整理されています。エピソードでは、平和国家ブランドの上に成り立つ信頼がより武装する日本にも引き継がれるのかが問われていること、さらに観光、教育、研究協力、供給網連携まで同時に走らせる設計が必要になることについても議論しています。 #### 米中の戦略的小康状態 ― 和解ではなく、次の競争の仕込み期間（Foreign Affairs） Foreign Affairs の「[Trump, Xi, and the Case for Strategic Calm](https://www.foreignaffairs.com/united-states/trump-xi-and-case-strategic-calm)」をもとに、米中の戦略的小康状態を和解ではなく次の競争に向けた準備期間として捉える視点を紹介します。 レアアース、磁石、重要鉱物、防衛産業基盤、備蓄、長期購入保障といった論点が整理されています。エピソードでは、握手や会談よりも在庫・加工・国家能力の方が重要だという見方、日本にとってもエネルギー安全保障や自動車、電機、化学、医薬、物流に直結する話であること、そして安い調達ではなく止まらない調達への転換が求められていることについても議論しています。 #### 日米同盟の再設計 ― 日本は必要とされる同盟国になれるか（Foreign Affairs） Foreign Affairs の「[How Takaichi Can Triumph](https://www.foreignaffairs.com/japan/how-takaichi-can-triumph)」をもとに、高市政権の戦略を踏まえたこれからの日米同盟戦略を考えます。 カナダのマーク・カーニー首相の中堅国連携路線と対比しながら、米国から離れるか米国に従うかではなく、米国を軸に欧州・インド・豪州などとの連携を重ねて日本を依存する同盟国から依存される同盟国へ移していく発想が取り上げられています。エピソードでは、FOIP の継続、ミサイル共同生産、重要鉱物、AI、司令・調達・保守整備を含む同盟運用と、そこから生まれる対中報復リスクや財政の持続性についても議論しています。 ##
